More success – well done, Fin!

Hot on the heels of Harrison’s success [link to post], we’re delighted to announce that Finlay (Fin) Robinson-McCrae has also passed his ACS gas exams and been promoted to Qualified Service Technician for Process and Commercial Heating.  Fin started his career at Fairburn back in April 2023, when he joined as an apprentice.  He now joins Harrison and Jay Bovill as technicians who have completed their training while working for Fairburn Heating Solutions.

To pass the ACS exam, candidates are required to demonstrate their ability in a variety of areas including fault identification, appliance competencies and core gas safety.  The examination is made up of both practical and written assessments.

Commenting on his achievement, Craig Carr, Managing Director said “Everyone at Fairburn sends their congratulations to Fin on this significant achievement.  It’s a well-deserved reward for his hard work.  We now have a team of three Service technicians who joined as apprentices and it’s great to see our belief and investment in growing our own engineers paying off.”
