Process Gas Engineers (Updated July 2024)
At Fairburn, we are always looking out for high quality commercial and industrial heating engineers, to operate nationally on a variety of installation & service projects.
Applicants must have completed at minimum ACS Natural Gas modules CONC1; TPCP1 and TPCP1a; ICPN1; CORT1; CIGA1; and CDGA1. IN addition, you will have at least 5 years’ experience working in the commercial/industrial gas heating industries and hold a full UK/EU driving licence.
Possession of LPG modules, OFTEC, 18th Edition qualifications is advantageous.
It is important that the successful candidate will naturally fit into our working cultures and values, be computer and iPad literate, hardworking, trustworthy and be able to work some antisocial hours as requested. Due to the nature of our core business within the processes heating world, some weekend working (mainly Saturdays) and overnight / working away is also essential.

If you think you share our values and would be an asset to Fairburn Heating Solutions Ltd, we are always on the lookout for Commercial/Process Heating Engineers to complement our existing team of Process Gas Technicians and Support members.
Applicants will need to:
- Have completed a minimum of CONC1 Core ACS module for Commercial Natural Gas
- Have two years experience of working in the commercial gas heating trade
- Be computer literate
- Be hard-working, trustworthy and have a great work ethic.
- Be flexible. Due to the nature of our business and the industrial process heating world some weekend and ‘anti-social hours’ work will be required.
It is also desired (but not necessary) that applicants:
- Have completed LPG modules, 17th Edition and Oftec qualifications
Successful applicants will get:
- A negotiable salary (based on experience)
- 47.5 working hours per week (door to door) plus overtime
- Travel and access to a vehicle (van)
