We service Nortek, Reznor and Vapac HVAC Systems

If you own any of the warm air or radiant heaters manufactured by Nortek Global HVAC, then you may have heard the news that they have withdrawn from quoted service work with effect from the end of April 2020.

The good news is that we have over 15 years experience working on this type of commercial heating (warm air, radiant tube fired), going back to the very early days of Fairburn.  Our team of expert engineers are available to look after your service requirements for these systems.

We currently look after over 100 warm air or radiant heaters across the UK and are conversant in the whole Nortek range, including Reznor, Ambirad, Benson and Nordair Niche across a wide range of industries, delighting our clients with our exceptional responsiveness and first-fix rates.

We are always happy to talk to any companies about their service requirements and visit sites to complete a no-obligation review and quotation.

Sean and Danny go to Russia

Two of our engineers recently travelled over 2,000 miles to Russia to conduct a safety audit and service.  Our experience working on the canning product lines for Crown Foods in the UK led them to request that we carry out this work on similar equipment at their plant in Timashevsk (about 200 miles north of Sochi, where the 2014 Winter Olympics were held and also home of the Russian Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit).

Crown Foods are the leading worldwide manufacturer of food cans, producing a wide variety of can shapes and sizes.  Fairburn Heating Solutions have provided maintenance support to Crown Foods since 2007.

As you can see, Sean and Danny enjoyed their visit, managing to take in a few of the local sights.

See Cam Fraser in action

As reported last week, Cameron Fraser had a successful weekend, finishing 7th in tricky conditions.  See some footage of his ride and hear his views on the weekend here.

A Podium Place for Jordan

A fantastic weekend for Jordan Weaving at Donnington, taking third place in the Stock 1000cc race for JD Racing, sponsored by Fairburn Heating Solutions

Cameron Fraser finished 7th in tricky conditions and Ewan recorded a new personal best for the circuit but just missed  out on points finishing in 16th place.

Sadly, Ben Godfrey had a more difficult weekend, with a big crash at turn one.  He’s OK and resting now after initially being unconscious.

We’re ISO 9001 certified!

We’re all delighted with the news that we have successfully completed our ISO 9001:2015 certification.

In summary this means we are able to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Typically, organisations that use the ISO 9001 standard find it helps them organise processes, improve the efficiency of processes and make continual improvements within their business.

Craig Carr, Managing Director of Fairburn Heating Solutions said “The ISO 9001 certification is an independent verification of our processes and commitment to continuous improvement, which has real benefits to all our customers.”

Craig praised the work of everyone involved in the exercise “This was a tremendous team effort and reflects well on every member of the company.”

Another successful weekend for JDR Racing

With a 6th place for Cameron Fraser and a new track Personal Best for Ewan Potter, it was another successful weekend for Jones Dorling Racing, sponsored by Fairburn Heating Solutions.

Ewan managed to progress from a starting position of 25th to 16th in only 10 laps when the race was shortened, improving his personal best at Snetterton by a whole second.

Ben Godfrey had a frustrating time, but still finished in 11th place, only his second finish outside the top 10 this season.

Cameron qualified well in difficult weather achieving 5th place but got caught up in a crash on the warm-up lap which resulted in the race moving to the end of the day.  Great work by the team meant he was able to take part in the rearranged race and did very well to get 6th place.

The next race is at Thruxton on the weekend of 2nd – 4th August.

JDR racing launch night

JDR racing, supported by Fairburn Heating Solutions had a successful launch night on 16th March.  The bikes looked great and there was a good audience there to see them, the riders and to wish the team good luck for 2019.

Ben and Ewan both participated in the ‘No Limits’ endurance race last weekend with  a 2nd and 8th place.  Ewan was supported by our very own Craig Carr!

With the season opening race on 19th April, it’s now down to the final testing this week and then the final preparations for a successful season.

Preparations are underway for ISO 9001

Our Operations Manager, Emma Tucker (second from right) successfully completed her ISO 9001 Quality Management Training Day last week as part of our preparation for full accreditation later this year.  The course, run by ISO Quality Services Ltd. in Worcester included key subjects like leadership, risk-based thinking, internal auditing and non-conformance.

Emma said “the training day was a very useful preparation for our drive towards ISO accreditation which is a key goal for Fairburn Industrial Heating in 2019.”
